If you are anything like me, your first journey into your work at home search might have been a doozie! It’s so hard to tell what is legit and what is not, where do I even start, and Oh I don’t want to get into one of those pyramid things! Well, since you have found my blog and this post I will tell you this series of videos will help you TREMENDOUSLY! I only wish I had something like this that I could just watch for a few minutes that would get me thinking in the right direction!!
So grab a piece of paper and a pen as there will probably be some information that you’ll want to write down for reference. Here is the first video on the mindset and mentality that drives your work at home search:
So what do you think? Did you recognize that your mentality has a HUGE role in what you end up doing in your work at home search? Try hard to think on your goals and dreams that you have for you and your family. It has always been my thought that I would not want to wait a few months or longer to get a work at home job that has all of the limitations I mentioned in the video. Why not think of starting a business now and by the time you would have gotten that work at home job you could be making either the same amount or even more! But that is the entrepreneurial mindset for you lol!
But just in case you just have no interest at all in a work at home business, here are those websites again that have good information on work at home jobs:

So what do you think? Was there anything in that video you hadn’t thought of before? Will this information help you in your search? Please comment below with any questions or comments as I would LOVE to hear your feedback! If you do have questions about working at home please comment below and I will be happy to assist you :).

Hey gorgeous, you seem so relaxed doing your videos, well done!!
You cover so many great points in this video alone. I could never imagine working for someone again even if it was from home! I love how you have broken it down with examples for people on what the difference is between working at home and having a home business. I think some people just think all working from home is the same, and it really isn’t! I think you also need to have the right mindset for it to work for you, and working at that can be a big project in itself!
fab video
cheers

Awww thanks Nat! With every video it gets easier and easier for my true self to show through. I think Mindset is so key it’s ridiculous…but then again mindset is key with almost everything we do. With the right mindset and mentality we can accomplish anything we want to!

Awesome video Roz! You definitely give the base and idea that someone should truly know before starting their search. I think many do start off with the mindset of just wanting to make money… but what starts happening through your search is either you grow and learn to become a true Entrepreneur or you realize you just want a little bit to make it through.
The difference is huge on both sides… you just have to really ask yourself… what is your why? What are your goals? What are you trying to really attain working at home? And where you want to be in a just a couple years?
Great stuff girl… will definitely help many with this! :)

Thank you so much Jenn! You hit the nail on the head…so many start their search thinking “I just have to make money!” And while that is important for obvious reasons, there is so much more to it. You provided some great additional questions to think about so thanks so much for your input!!

Hey Roz,
This video brought back memories of my past work from home JOB search.
When they were adamant about having no “noise in the background” I remember thinking that I would have to work grave yard for that to happen! lol
Great Video!

I need a job from home like now and money like now. I sent a message to you earlier but dont think you recieved it yet. My sound on my computer is not working. Could you suggest something for me and a way to get quick cash for rent. Please help me. I got sick as a result of a surgery gone bad here in Dallas Texas and lost all that I worked for. I am still so depressed after making over 100 thousand a year. Lost home, car etc. My job as a hairdresser is way to hard on my body and I lost all my clients. Only have a small group of women left to do hair and still pay lease of 800 month in salon. I must stop doing it soon. Since then I have been selling lace wigs, toupees for men and 100% human hair extensions all costumed colors. But dont have money to market it. I spent a year paying on website that I owe 40.00 on and can not pay for that I am crying as I typed never been so depressed in my life. I must do something to help my husband he do not make enough money to pay all bills. We have moved every year since. Once homeless. Could you guys please help me. All my family that I helped of course no one calls anymore

Hi Roz! Get Excited & Stay Excited!!
Very good video. I remember when I used to work from home as an “employee” They did have a lot of rules & restrictions. I worked for many companies and even helped over 400+ people beginning in 2003 to get “jobs” from home. You are right when it comes to having the mentality. Just like you have to have a certain mentality being an entrepreneur… you still have to be prepared to work from home as an employee. As I’ve always said– working from home is a benefit that an employer gives not a requirement. Many people beginning their search do not realize that. Very warm vibrations from you in the video. I enjoyed.

What a brilliant post. You should do a series! :)I did a sort of blogging for dummies over on one of the craft forums and I thought it was too simple for them, but the amount of emails I got asking questions just like what you addressed was unbelievable. As young people today we have grown up with computers, but it’s easy to forget that even people just a few years older have not! Really good post! :)

I’m impressed, I must say. Really rarely can i encounter a blog that’s the two educative and entertaining, and without a doubt, you have hit the nail over the head. Your idea is actually outstanding; the issue is a factor that not enough people are generally speaking intelligently about. I am very happy that stumbled across this around my search for something relating to this.

Hi really enjoyed your post video was really great.
I have done quite bait of working from home. I have been self employed ever since I started work. The key thing for me has always been motivation. I’ve always tried to be totally reliable to all my customers however big or small as reputation is everything when you are a one man band. I think a lot of people don’t realise how many hours you end up putting in though if you work from home though. It is easy for your work to become all consuming as you are at your place of work all the time.
Thanks again loved it.
